The last time Liverpool put five goals past Arsenal it was to secure the title.
Brendan Rodgers’ side beat Arsenal 5-1 on Saturday, and it was their biggest win over their London rivals since April 1964.
Peter Thompson scored twice as Ian St John, Alf Arrowsmith and Roger Hunt also netted as Bill Shankly’s side went on to lift the First Division title.

Rodgers’ has already ruled his side out of this season’s title race, but this win will give Liverpool more hope that they can win the league for the first time since 1990.
Liverpool raced into a 4-0 lead after just 20 minutes at Anfield thanks to a brace from Martin Skrtel and then Raheem Sterling added two before Daniel Sturridge got one.
The last time Liverpool won by four goals was more recently in 2000 when Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Nick Barmby and Robbie Fowler all scored in a 4-0 win.
