Odd Man Out: Terry, Van Persie and Adebayor make the line-up but who is the misfit in our XI?

Every week we’ll name an XI of past and present footballers for you to guess what links them all. But there’s a twist – one player will always be the odd man out in the dressing room.
This week’s team are all current Premier League players, lined up in a 4-4-2. Can you work out what the connection is between them, and who the misfit is and why?
SPOILER ALERT - DON'T SCROLL DOWN TOO QUICKLY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THE ANSWER
Odd man out: Which one of our XI is the misfit?

Real Madrid 3-0 Atletico Madrid: Two deflections help Ronaldo and Co take big lead into second leg... but match spoiled by diving, stamping, pushing and play acting

It was about as far away from a game for the purists as you are likely to see, but Real Madrid battled their way past their capital counterparts in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg.
On another day both teams could have only had a handful of players left on the pitch after Alvaro Arbeloa, Pepe, Diego Costa and Raul Garcia kicked, slapped or stamped off the ball.
Real took the lead midway through the first half when Pepe strode forward out of defence as his shot hit former Liverpool defender Emiliano Insua and bounced in.
They then made it two when Angel Di Maria found Jese in the box and the young Spaniard slotted the ball under Atletico keeper Thibaut Courtois, although the Chelsea loanee could have done better.
He didn't have much chance with the third, however, when a Di Maria shot deflected off Atletico defender Miranda and into the back of the net.

This can be The People's Club... and yes, I want the very best to play here! Beckham announces 'exciting' MLS franchise in Miami (but will their kit be Man City blue?)

David Beckham has described his Major League Soccer venture in Miami 'exciting' on the day he finally unveiled the country's new franchise - and claimed he can lure the world's best to his new side.
The 38-year-old's move into football ownership is expected to cost him £15million - around 25 per cent of the price other new clubs have to pay - and he instantly proclaimed he wants Miami to be home to 'The People's Football Club'.
Even though the press call was devoid of hard facts, a big hint was dropped as to the colour of the new team's kit after blue scarves were unleashed.

Ouch! Arbeloa escapes punishment for RAKING Costa's achilles in feisty derby

Lady Luck shone on Alvaro Arbeloa on Wednesday night when the Real Madrid defender escaped without punishment for a nasty challenge on Diego Costa.
During the pulsating Copa del Rey semi-final first leg clash between Real and Atletico Madrid, it was evident from the start that Arbeloa and team-mate Pepe were singling the Brazil-born striker out for a rough ride at the Santiago Bernabeu
But after a number of clumsy tackles to quell the threat posed by Costa in the first half, Arbeloa overstepped the mark, dragging his studs across his calf while the players waited for a dead-ball to be played into the Real Madrid penalty area.
Ouch: Alvaro Arbeloa can just be seen raking the back of Diego Costa's leg as the players await a dead-ball delivery
